Barista -- Purpose:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every interaction leaves a lasting impression
  • Consistently produce high-quality beverages that reflect our standards
  • Educate customers and team members on our coffee, tea, and light take-out fare offerings.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the café environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines
  • Manage product inventory and ensure smooth service by stocking stations appropriately
  • Handle POS transactions accurately and follow operational procedures for opening and closing shifts
  • Minimize waste and maintain a sense of urgency in assisting customers
  • Attends all required team member meetings and in-service training sessions.
  • Upholds Residents’ Rights as defined by state regulations and by Company policy, at all times.
  • Supports and upholds all other Company policies, and the service philosophy.
  • Reliable and Predictable Attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

  • Preferred 1 year of café experience High School diploma or equivalent
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for building relationships
  • Quick to learn and apply new skills, including proper bar cleaning techniques
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently when needed
  • Proficient in basic math calculations
  • Capable of lifting and moving up to 50lbs
  • Familiarity with POS systems is a plus 
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, write, and speak English to communicate effectively with residents, families, guests, and other team members.
  • Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills.
  • Must meet all health-related requirements pertaining to State licensure.
  • Must maintain current CPR/First Aid credentials.
  • Must maintain current Food Handlers credentials.
  • Must maintain annual Continuing Education Credits.
  • Must be able to perform duties and responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Subject to pre-employment screening including physical, drug and TB testing and criminal clearance.

Starting Salary Range $19.00 - $21.50 per hour
